Greetings from the management and staff of Teso College Aloet. The school has officially closed for Term I Holidays today Wednesday, 13th April, 2022. Term II 2022 starts on Saturday 7th May 2022. You are required to send your child to school in time because teaching and learning starts immediately.
- Teaching/Learning and Assessment of Learners
The teachers engaged the learners throughout the term. The remaining part of the syllabi will be completed accordingly. Progressive tests were administered to S.3, S4 & S.6 classes; and each student has come home with a progressive test report card. All classes did end of term examinations and results will be processed during holidays.
During Covid-19 lockdown, the school administration adopted a new approach of online teaching and learning. This program can be used alongside the conventional approach.
There was a remarkable improvement in UCE results 2020 from 76 in DIV.I to 127 out of 258 candidates. Our best student at UACE obtained 18 points; and 137 out of 189 candidates were eligible for admission to the university. Five of our students were admitted to Public Universities on Government Sponsorship in 2021/22 academic year; and many more were admitted to various universities on private scheme.
Five students of Teso College Aloet UCE 2020 candidates who performed very well were admitted on Board of Governors Bursary Scheme and will continue to enjoy school fees waiver as long as they uphold high academic performance in S.5 & S.6.
